Sophie Sherry is a breaking news reporter for The Chicago Sun-Times. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she majored in public policy and served as Managing News Editor of her college paper, The Michigan Daily. Before coming to the Sun-Times, Sophie interned on The Chicago Tribune’s metro desk, covering crime, education and the COVID-19 pandemic. Sophie has also held positions at CNN, Michigan Radio and The Invisible Institute.
